Christ Father For The Fatherless Orphanage and Outreach Ministry currently has volunteer opportunities aimed at providing care and support to the needy orphans and vulnerable children in Uganda. This provides an opportunity for volunteers to experience Uganda while working to improve the children's lives. Volunteers work in areas of: Study tours Care for infants in class Carry out education campaigns in communities Help feeding Administrative work Adult literacy Teaching children at the center Working towards women empowering Taking HIV infected children to hospitals for treatment Sharing your professional skills Assisting our local clinic Community health education Vocational training and life skills Children's rights campaign Making home visits We are keen to hear from anyone who is willing to donate time for the benefit of the children! As education, shelter, health care and feeding are of paramount importance, we would like to hear from anyone willing to promote health care in order to prevent illness in the community and to work at the center by teaching skills on a voluntary basis. We have volunteer placements all year long in our project and enough room for your accommodation! Start a CFFF Team CFFF Teams are a great way for people to take initiative in volunteering. A CFFF-Team is a group of people who meet to organize, to raise awareness and funds for the foundation. You can meet as often as you like and wherever you like. There is no limit to age or location - anyone can help to make a difference! How do I start an CFFF Team? Ask around your hometown, city or school to see who would be interested. Consider posting a flyer about your team with meeting time, location and contact information. If you start a team, get in touch with us, so that we can let others know too and provide you with more information. The team can be as formal or informal as you like. It could take the form of an after-school-club, a neighborhood group or public and citywide. You can also give your group a unique name that fits your region - It's up to you! What do CFFF Teams do? Our two greatest needs are always raising awareness and funds. If you are planning to start a team, consider making an educational campaign in your area to inform people about our work in Uganda. Teams can plan events for fundraising to support the center's aims. Don't be afraid to get creative! It's a great opportunity for people to take leadership roles in making a change around the world!
